We will camp at the ski lodge and enjoy a picnic there (provided) or you can opt into a fine dining experience at he Resort Restaurant. You can pre-purchase a breakfast buffet served down in the
Balsams Resort dining room (available on the online registration form), or cycle 10 miles to the next town, on todays route, for other eateries. Upon arrival swimming is available.

(Don’t miss the French bakery and chocolatier!) Cross the border in Vermont and enjoy
the quiet countryside on our way to Coaticook River Gorge, one of Quebec’s most
spectacular natural phenomena. Hike the nature trails, walk across the worlds longest
suspension bridge, go horseback riding, or just relax.
Day 4 (Coaticook to Notre Dame des Bois) Tuesday June 24
68 miles / This day finds us cycling through the charming villages of the Quebec countryside. Our
destination is Notre Dame des Bois, perhaps the prettiest village in Canada. It was here on
the steps of the local church that a MOOSA rider proposed to his girlfriend!
Day 5 (Notre Dame des Bois to Kingfield, ME) Wednesday June 25
65 miles / As we leave in the morning there is a wee bit of up and down but from the border on it’s
nearly all downhill through the beautiful mountains and lakes of Western Maine. It’s truly
a fun ride to the ski town of Kingfield, Maine.
Day 6 (Kingfield to Rangeley) Thursday June 26
42 or 57 miles / You won’t want to miss the Mooseville shop, home to ALL things Moose, and
welcoming moose “Brodey” on our route today!
Day 7 (Rangeley to Bethel, ME) Friday June 27
65 miles / The last day of riding is perhaps the most beautiful. Mountains, lakes rivers with
spectacular views. Ride by the swift river gorge where locals still pan for gold and you can
take a swim there! Then it’s onto the finish in Bethel.
